I am a Ct native and have raised my son and daughter here. I am active in my community and have been blessed to have been elected to the Ct State Senate twice.

I have traveled here and abroad and have enjoyed a baseball game in 26 of the stadiums across the country and Canada with 5 more to go for a “complete game”.

My life experiences have been unique which developed a sense of wonder at the life we have each been given.

I cherish the honor of helping couples officially begin their wonderful journey together in marriage or civil union.

It is my pleasure to work with each couple to make the ceremony their very own.

I am a former high school English teacher who is now a self employed musician/band leader, media producer, DJ, writer and Justice of the Peace.  My professional experience allows me to be flexible and comfortable with any customized plans that you may have for your wedding; from conservative to “out of the ordinary”.

I feel that a couple deserves a wedding ceremony that represents what is special and meaningful to them. I get tremendous joy and satisfaction from the privilege of joining two people in matrimony.

In addition to being a Justice of the Peace, I am also ordained in a Christian ministry and can expand the ceremony in that dimension, as desired.

I am a professional performing musician (flute and piccolo) and very recently retired after 30 years with the US Coast Guard Band.  I currently play with the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra and the Hartford Festival Orchestra. I also enjoy teaching flute and piccolo lessons. Since I am associated with many local musicians, I could help arrange for live classical music (and perhaps a jazz combo, etc) for a couple’s wedding.

My fee is quite reasonable and I really enjoy getting to know the couples and working closely with them to create a special ceremony.

I like to do a personalized wedding ceremony unique to each couple. I want the couples to look back on their wedding ceremony with the happiest of memories knowing that I took the time to "personalize" their ceremony and vows to each other.  Each couple is unique in the way they want to start their married life together. Some choose to have only a few people witness their vows while others have many family and friends to share in their "big day."  However the couple wishes to  have their ceremony, I am more than happy to accommodate them.
