-When is Tyrone Farm available to host weddings?
We are a seasonal venue that runs May through October.
-Can you outline any costs and fees that would be a part of renting your facility for our wedding ceremony and reception? What is included in your rental fee? Do you provide chairs, chair covers, decorations, linens, plates/silverware?
We have a site fee and a ceremony fee. Some of the included items are: Reception tables, cocktail tables, reception chairs, ceremony chairs, patio furniture, lighting, bathrooms, heating/ac, lawn games, a fire pit, parking, a sound system in the barn, a tent on the terrace for cocktail hour,
-What is your maximum capacity?
-Do you have a place for the wedding parties to get ready?
Yes, we have a cottage (3 bedroom/2.5 baths) on the property.
-Do you have an onsite coordinator we would be working with? Is this included in your rental fee or is this an additional fee?
We include an onsite coordinator at no additional charge.
-Are there any rules about when events must end?
You have five hours for your cocktail/reception and an additional hour for a ceremony. All events must end by 10pm.
-Do you allow couples to provide their own decor?
As long as it is not a fire hazard and has been ok'd with us in advance.
We do not allow non-composting items (e.g. fake flowers, ) to be tossed by your flower girl or guests after the ceremony.
-Can our videographer bring a drone?
We DO NOT allow drones at Tyrone Farm.
-Can my DJ bring more lighting and special effects?
Lighting needs to be ok'd with us in advance. We do not allow strobes, snow/smoke machines, excessive light rigs, moving lights
-Are rehearsals included?
We allow up to an hour for your ceremony rehearsal, coordinated by Tyrone Farm.
-Can rehearsal dinners be held at Tyrone Farm?
No, we cannot accommodate your rehearsal dinner.
-Do you allow outside alcohol to be served?
All alcohol must be served by one of our licensed vendors with a catering liquor license issued by the state of Connecticut.
